Integrated Water Resources Management

KRIETER WATER & ENVIRONMENT develop plans for the Integrated Water Resources Management which ;

  1. are designed and should carried out in a good partnership to other land uses and to the benefit of the environmental conditions. The integrated management is of common benefits for drinking water use and other land uses (environment protection, flood prevention etc.)
  2. the plan for “integrated water resources management” contains detailed guidelines for land users in the catchment area for the purpose of reducing/avoiding water contamination
  3. it also contains plans for integrated optimizations as fertilizing guidelines. For example: Cost saving on the one hand (for farmers) and avoiding groundwater pollution by nitrogen (outwash of N over-fertilizing) on the other side are the double positive effects of these integrated programs.
