At KRIETER, we believed that modern development must also consider ‘Environment’ as part of the system. An integrated environmental safety and protection mechanism is needed when a development project take places. Therefore, in Malaysia, it is in the law, that before any projects such as infrastructure, agriculture, mining, housing, industry and petroleum wants to be developed, a very detailed Environmental Impact Assessment study need to be done and approved by the Department of Environment (DOE) Malaysia.
According to the DOE, EIA is a study to identify, predict, evaluate and communicate information about the impacts on the environment of a proposed project and to detail out the mitigating measures prior to project approval and implementation.
KRIETER WATER & ENVIRONMENT have been done many Environmental Assessment studies in Europe, where the standard and the regulation is much more detailed and tighter.
